Diálogo en una tienda de deporte

El anterior día os explique como pedir unos billetes para un viaje. Hoy os explicare como pedir algo en una tienda de deportes. ¿Como seria ese diálogo? Muy fácil ya lo veréis.


1ª Miráis si esta en la tienda lo que estáis buscando.
2ª Si, no sabéis, como siempre os digo podéis pedir ayuda al dependiente/a.


                                                   Dialogue

-You: I need a new tennis racket, please.

-Costumer: Look at his racket.

-You: No, I don't want a heavy racket.
 
-Costumer: How about this racket? It is lighter than the other racket.

-You: Youŕe right. It isn't as heavy as the other rackets, but itś too expensive. I haven´t got enough money to buy it!

-Costumer: You , look at this racket. It's cheaper than the other one. I think it's light enough for you. 

-You: Let's see . Yes, I think .I'll buy this racket. How much is it?

-Customer: 30 pounds

-You: Thank you, very much. bye

-Customer: See you soon.


Terminado este diálogo ahora os voy a explicar un poco la gramática que aparece en este dialogo. 
 
-I don't want a heavy racket : present simple. Podéis mirar la explicación del
presente simple en otras entradas que he hecho en este blog. Esta frase  significaría: "Yo no quiero una raqueta pesada"

-It's lighter than the other racket /It's cheaper than the other one:
Si tiene una sílaba, o dos y termina en -y, se considera corta y se le añade la terminación -er detrás se pone than. Esta frase significaría: "Esta es más ligera que otras raqueta/ Es más barata que otras.


- As heavy as the other racket: "As...as" es un comparativo de igualdad que se forma con (not) nas + adjetivo + as (no) tan... como. Esta frase significaría : "No tan pesado como otras raquetas.


- It's too expensive: Siempre va delante del adjetivo e indica que la cualidad expresada por este es excesiva.Signifíca "demasiado". Esta frase significaría: Demasiado caro.


- I haven´t got enough money to buy it: Not + adjetivo+ enough significa "no (lo) bastante" o "no (lo) suficiente. Esta frase significaría: " Yo no tengo bastante dinero para comprarlo.


- It's light enough for you: Se pone detrás del adjetivo y significa " (lo) bastante" o (lo) suficiente". Esta frase significaría: " Es lo bastante ligera para ti.


- I'll buy this racket: Anunciar acciones o hechos futuros, predecir lo que se cree que ocurrira, expresar decisiones repentinas. Esta frase significaría: "Yo debería comprar esta raqueta".

Diálogo como pedir unos billetes para un viaje

El anterior día os expliqué como pedir algo cuando valláis a un supermercado.Hoy os explicaré como pedir unos billetes para un viaje. ¿Cómo sería este diálogo?

1ª Mirais el sitio que os gustaría viajar.
2ª Le pides ayuda a un vendedor de billetes

-Ticket seller: can I help you?

-Customer: Yes, I'd like to book tickets to brington please.

-Ticket seller: For what date?

-Customer: Friday ,20th March.

-Ticket seller: Do you want single or return ticket?

-Customer: Return ,please.

-Ticket seller: How many tickets do you want?

-Customer: Four ,please

-Customer: I'd  like to go to London. What time doesn't leave/ arrive?

-Ticket seller: Every five hours

-Customer: How long does it take to get there?

-Ticket seller: About an hour and a half. What time would you like yo leave/ arrive get there?

-Customer: I need to get there at twelve o'clock

-Ticket seller: Then you should take the next flight.

-Customer: Which platform does it leave from?

-Ticket seller: Platform two

-Customer: Is it a direct route?

-Ticket seller: Yes, it is. In two minutes you need to run 


Bueno, ahora os voy a decir el significado de algunas palabras que aparecen en estos dos diálogos:

. Book ticket: reservar un billete

. Single ticket: billete de ida

. Return ticket: billete de ida y vuelta

. Platform: andén

. Route: ruta o recorrido

Diálogo en un supermercado

El anterior día os explique como pedir un menú en un restaurante. Hoy os explicare como pedir algo cuando valláis a un supermercado. ¿como seria esa conversación?

1ª Os lleváis una lista con lo que necesitamos comprar.

2ª Miráis la lista para poder comprarlo y le pides ayuda a una dependiente/a.


Shooping List:

2 packets of sugar

A dozen eggs

Four bottles of water

2 kg oranges

Shopping List:

- Shop assitent: Good morning. Can I help you?

- You: yes, please. How much is the sugar?

- Shop assitent: Two pounds a packet.

- You: Ok. Can I have two pockets, please?

- Shop assitent: Here you are. Anything else?

- You: Yes. How much are a dozen eggs?

- Shop assitent: Three pounds a dozen.

- You: Ok. Can I have a dozen eggs, please?

- Shop assitent: Here you are. Anything else?

- You: Yes, How many are three bottles of water?

- Shop assitent: One pounds.

- You: Ok. Can I have three bottles of water?

- Shop assitent: Here you are. Anything else?

- You: Yes. How many are two kiles oranges?

- Shop assitent: Four pounds.

- You: Ok. Can I have two kiles oranges?

- Shop assitent: Here you are. Anything else?

- You: Nothing more. How much it all cost?

- Shop assitent: Ten pounds

- You: Certainly here you are.

Habeis podido observar en esta conversacion los cambios de How much.../ How many....

Ya que How much.... Se emplea para sustantivos incontables. Y el How many.... se emplea para sustantivos contables.

Te doy a dar una pequeña pista, si observas bien la conversación te darás cuenta, que el sustantivo incontable siempre esta en singular: sugar etc.. y el sustantivo contable esta siempre en plural: oranges, bottles of water....

Dialogo como pedir un menu en un restaurante

hoy vamos a almorzar en un restaurante. ¿como seria ese dialogo? Primeramente vemos el menú del restaurante y elegimos lo que más nos guste.

                                                             MENÚ:

 1. STARTES:  Tomato Soup - $ 3.95, Salad - $ 6.95,  Egg Mayonnaise - $ 3.95,  and Cheese - $ 9.00.

 2. MAIN COURSES:  Chicken served chips, and  peas - $ 5.50,  Fish served chips, and  vegetables - $  6.95.

Meat served chips, and vegetables.

 3. SIDE DISHES:  Potatoes - $ 2.95, Sausage - $ 3.00 and  Rice - $ 1.95.

 4. DESSERTS:  Ice Cream - $ 3.00, Chocolate Cake - $ 5.00, yogurt - $ 2.50, and  Apple - $1.50.

Bueno ya hemos mirado el menú ahora es el turno de pedirle al camarero que es lo que nos apetecería comer.

Verbo Have Got

Bueno ya hemos descansado unos pocos de días con la gramática y hoy seguimos con ella esta vez con el verbo " have got".

Have got:

Significa tener y indica posesión la estructura de estos verbos es muy diferente. Estos dos verbos se usan para hablar de relaciones, enfermedades y caracteristicas.

- La estructura en afirmativa es: sujeto + has/ have + presente del verbo.

Ejemplo:

I have got a motorbike.

She has got a bycicle.

Observaras que la tercera persona del singular se forma de manera irregular ( cambia de "have" a "has")

- La estrucutura en negativa es: sujeto + hasn't/ haven't + presente del verbo.

Ejemplo:

I haven't got three sisters.

He hasn't got a small house.

- La estructura en interrogativa es: Has/ have + sujeto+ presente del verbo.

Ejemplo:

Has she got a ball?

Have you got a cat?
